Convert AVI to non-standard MPEG-2

Should you wish to create an MPEG-2 movie that does not follow the SVCD or DVD standards you can remove the check from the option labeled "Use MPEG Presets". Please note that changing any preset parameter other than to encode for highest quality may prevent your CD or DVD burning application from accepting the output file.
